A Little History
 
Darrell Collins was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, and represents the fourth generation of Pentecostals in his family. He received the Holy Ghost at age 10 and felt a call to ministry at age 13. He graduated from Jackson College of Ministries in 1980 and entered full-time ministry. He pastored for more than 10 years in the Mississippi District and later received a missions call to Bolivia, South America.
 
Cindy Collins was born in Texas and raised in Denver, Colorado. She also represents the fourth generation of Pentecostals in her family. She received the Holy Ghost at age 11. Cindy and Darrell married in 1972 and she has served as a homemaker, ministers wife and teacher in a Christian school.
 
After serving for 14 years as foreign missionaries to the country of Bolivia helping to establish 68 churches and preaching points and developing 85 licensed ministers, the Collins have returned to North America to continue working with Spanish-speaking people. They believe that their ability with the Spanish language and understanding of the Latin culture will be an asset to their ministry in the United States and Canada. They are looking forward to working with established English-speaking churches, helping them start Spanish-speaking daughter works in an effort to touch the lives of the many Latinos now living in the United States and Canada.
